Heather E. Goodman’s fiction has been published in Fiction, Witness, Shenandoah, Gray’s Sporting Journal, Crab Orchard Review, and the Chicago Tribune, where her story won the Nelson Algren Award. She teaches high school students and lives in a log cabin along a creek in Pennsylvania with her partner Paul and pooches Leo and Osa.
